Killion requested the grants for local municipalities and public authorities. The new grants are administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s Commonwealth Financing Authority.
“This is great news for our area,” said Killion. “These state grants will enhance the quality of life for our families and help municipalities and local authorities complete important projects,” he added.

Killion earlier announced a $1 million state grant for renovations to Riddle Hospital’s Birthplace facility and another $1 million grant to renovate and expand the Green Ridge Fire House in Aston Township.
