Area veterans are invited to a free appreciation breakfast being hosted this Saturday, November 2nd by State Senator Tom Killion and State Representative Steve Barrar at Elam United Methodist Church, 1073 Smithbridge Road in Glen Mills.
“We are indebted to those who have sacrificed and risked their lives so that we may live in peace and freedom,” said Killion. “I’m pleased to host this breakfast along with Rep. Barrar to extend our appreciation to our brave veterans.”
Said Barrar, “We owe so much to our veterans, this is just one small opportunity Sen. Killion and I have to express our gratitude for their service to our country.”
There will be three seatings at the breakfast: 8:30 AM, 9:30 AM, and 10:30 AM. All veterans are invited. Those interested in attending should call Senator Killion’s Delaware County office to RSVP at 610-447-3163 or Representative Barrar’s office at 610-358-5925.
