The Chester Water Authority (CWA) is a valuable public asset. The water quality is excellent, its employees are outstanding and the rates they charge customers are reasonable. It is in the best interests of ratepayers and the authority’s employees that this well-run authority remain a public asset.
While the discussion and debate about privatizing the CWA is now the subject of extensive litigation, it is my hope the authority continues its long, proud legacy as one of the finest publicly-owned water providers in the country.
