Senator Tom Killion announced that he will be holding his annual Kids Fun Fair this Saturday, May 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Brandywine Youth Club Fieldhouse on 47 Thornton Road in Glen Mills.

The event is free and open to the public.  Carnival food will be provided at no cost.  The fair features indoor and outdoor activities and will be held rain or shine.

The Kids Fun Fair will once again feature a mix of entertaining and educational exhibits happening throughout the day.  In previous years, Killion’s fair has attracted hundreds of area residents.

“This fair is a great way for families to spend time together on a spring Saturday,” said Killion.  “We will have valuable information for local families and lots of fantastic entertainment for children,” he added.

Scheduled participants in the Kids Fun Fair include the Philadelphia Zoo, Franklin Institute, SEPTA Transit Police K-9 Unit and a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter.  The fair will also include a moon bounce, face painting and free balloon animal gifts.

This year’s Kids Fun Fair will have a record number of over 45 exhibitors providing information and demonstrations for attendees.  Federal, state and county agencies as well as non-profit organizations will be present at the fair.
